Wow, what a year it’s been at beyond.
We’ve come such a long way since opening our first location, beyond Aldgate Tower, in March of 2022!
More locations, more members and more value added for them to enjoy were all on the agenda this year.

Adding value for our fantastic members
At beyond, we’re all about our flexible workspaces being fit for the evolution of the modern workforce. Naturally, that means constantly growing and evolving our proposition to offer more and more value for our members.
One initiative we introduced this year to boost member experience was “Mystery Mondays’. Offering a surprise treat to our members every Monday, the weekly event not only drew members into the office on a common work-from-home day but also brought a little sunshine to their day – ultimately what we’re all about at beyond!
Another fantastic development was giving our members the ability to book workspaces like meeting rooms and private offices totally on demand in all the beyond locations, enabling them to work however best suits them, whenever they want!
Opening beyond workspaces across Europe
One of the most exciting developments of the year was beyond growing from one to three locations! Our second London location, beyond Kingsbourne House, began welcoming members in January 2023, while September saw the launch of our first ever Netherlands location, beyond Zuidtoren.
With this, we’re proud to share that beyond’s blossoming community grew to an incredible 3,500 members across the continent!
And that’s not all – beyond has two new locations in Amsterdam and London confirmed to open in 2024. beyond Republica will open its doors in February, while more will be revealed about the second new location in the new year – with more to come later.

Hosting a plethora of memorable events
Our chock-full events programme is long what we’ve been renowned for at beyond, and 2023 was no different.
From big bashes celebrating company milestones to member community quiz nights and professional workshops, our members kept busy. In fact, a huge total of unforgettable events took place throughout this year!
Revealing insights into the world of work
Of course, understanding what our members want and need to thrive is of the utmost importance to us.
That’s why we recently surveyed nearly 1,300 UK employees about all things hybrid work and coming into the office.
It unveiled some incredible insights! For example, did you know that...
- For those in desk-based roles where hybrid working arrangements would be possible, 44% are working in a hybrid model, combining office and remote working.
- 80% of office, hybrid and remote workers think flexible working is the best thing to have emerged from the challenging Covid period.

Looking ahead to 2024
2023 has been an incredible year for us at beyond, full of our own important milestones as well as those of our incredible members – which has been nothing short of a delight to witness.
